My students are creative innovators! They are constantly asking questions to build their knowledge. They enjoy applying math to every day, real-world problems and are eager to try new ideas that will allow them to be successful in their academic and personal lives. They are inquisitive, compassionate and have set high goals. Many of my students have goals of attending college and being competitive in the workforce against their peers. They are motivated and push themselves beyond the average to learn and succeed at a higher standard. My students are not only concerned with their academics, they also participate in extra-curricular activities to include sports and clubs. They constantly volunteer their time to help their school and community when needs arise, such as volunteering to clean someone's yard, work at the school fair, or tutor students who are struggling.
