The materials and supplies I am requesting will aide my students in expanding and applying their knowledge through hands on activities during station work. These materials include grammar activities, phonics crossword puzzles, spelling, sight words and magnetic letters to manipulate. All of these activities will help with introducing, practicing and mastering literacy standards while working in groups of peers to complete a meaningful activity. Students will be able to focus and stay engaged on the activity at hand while continuing to apply newly learned strategies though practice in their stations. These materials will also be incorporated during whole group and large group times.
