At our school, we have students that range from homeless to wealthy. The students in my class have behavioral and motivation challenges that impeded them from displaying appropriate behaviors. My students come from all different backgrounds and come to school carrying a little extra weight on their shoulders. Some come from single parent homes and poverty, while others just have internal struggles that they are dealing with. In our classroom, we work through some of these issues and come up with action plans to help them throughout the school day. Each of my students is amazing and brilliant in their own way, and I strive to help them in discovering what their strengths are.
