After 15 years of not having a journalism class, my students fought hard to make this course available to our school. Now that they made it happen, they face a new challenge: our journalism class lacks equipment and software. Our students have worked hard to bring this class back to life and all we need are the tools. Since my students often use the video cameras on their phones, we need a tool to stabilize our images. This is the reason we decided to request an Osmo Gimbal Stabilizer. Having two would give us the opportunity to cover two different stories on the same date and produce a good quality image. We don't have updated software to work on video and photos. Sony Vegas software would give a level of professionalism to the work my students produce. Most of our computers are extremely old and the programs that are installed are no longer compatible with the technological needs of today. We find that we are very limited when we are trying to Photoshop and edit.
