I love my students and they deserve the best regardless of what school they attend or their financial status. My goal is to increase student learning by making their classroom experiences more hands-on and interactive. Personalized learning increases retention, and what's more personalized than getting gritty while doing experiments? This year in sixth-grade science, we're covering a wide variety of topics from molecules to earthquakes to the life cycle. Some of the labs/projects you're supporting through your donation are: Oobleck (SLG study), mystery powders, chemistry exploration, toothpick houses/withstand earthquakes, waves model, solar ovens, rock candy/ crystal creation, soil types exploration, conductors/thermal expansion exploration, density tower/lava lamps... and these are just a few of the exciting labs happening in my sixth grade science classroom. Title I doesn't have to mean fewer learning opportunities, support my classroom. Thank you for everything!
