Our elementary students are like most students today; they are 21st century learners. They thrive in a learning environment rich in technology. Our classroom has limited access to technology, making it difficult for all students to participate daily in digital activities and lessons. We need six Chromebooks and Chrome Management Licenses to access education through technology and a Google Management license to help our school district manage the equipment. The Chromebooks from this project will be used to increase students' digital literacy knowledge. Students will learn about internet safety, research methods using reputable sources, access to online interventions, increased typing skills, project design, and the ability to present and communicate information in a digital world. Our Science and ELA curricula include fantastic online resources that would help increase the students' understanding of the content. Students would have the ability to work independently at their own pace and at their own level, scaffolding their learning.
