My classroom is full of 29 eager and dedicated learners. We live in a small university town surrounded by Willamette valley farm land in Oregon. This makes for a unique blend of academic and agrarian culture. We are a self-contained 5th grade classroom in a K-5 elementary setting. We are a Title 1 school with approximately 60% of our students qualifying for free or reduced lunch. The demographics of our students are culturally diverse with about 20% of those students being English language learners.
