My school is part of a large urban district, but it has a personality that is all its own. We are located in a rural part of the district that is oftentimes forgotten. The students see and feel that they are left out at times. Our school has high teacher turnover rates which also contributes to our students feeling less than important. Their location also seems to prevent them from having all of the necessary materials for success. They are just as capable as the high performing schools, but haven't been given a chance. They deserve a chance!
