Majority of my instruction is done in a small group setting. My students spend very little time at their desks. Instead they are constantly moving through rotations. Some groups not only receive small group instruction with me, but with a second teacher as well. The stools I have now cannot handle all the wobbling my students have to do in order for them to stay focused. I am constantly throwing stools out for bent or broke legs. Wobble seats will allow my students the flexibility they need to be successful when they are learning from the teacher-led table. These chairs will also be able to handle the amount of movement my students do while using the stools. A majority of my students need to fidget in some way to stay focused and engaged. These stools will allow my students this opportunity. This is only the first step to my classroom becoming a student-centered environment where the students will get to choose where and how they learn best.
