I teach some of the best students in a low-income city school district with a large group military affiliated students. We are a diverse district of some of the most brilliant, creative, talented students! Personally, in my classroom, my students are innovators and problem solvers who offer genuine kindness to their classmates every single day. Some of my students come to school with everything, some of them come with nothing. None of that matters. My students know that together with me, we can take care of most issues they may be having as they enter the room every day. Despite this, they all come to school ready and eager to dive into learning and there is no other job that I'd rather have than to be the one that supports their love for learning. I value the diversity and unique characteristics that each of them bring to the table and truly feel as though I am better for having taught them.
