I am blessed with a wonderful class that I fell in love with the first week of school. My students are well- behaved and willing to give their best to succeed in second grade. They come from Spanish speaking families. Their families are supporting, and they have raised them with values that are shown as they interact to each other in class. They are eager learners and very inquisitive about the world. I can seem them grown into extraordinary human beings giving them the appropriate tools and providing an adequate environment to achieve their goals. As they come from first grade they have not developed yet the stamina to read and enjoy reading independently. However, they are still excited about literacy, but I lack to provide the variety of texts in their language to fulfill their eagerness to read. Our school is located in an urban area. It is a public school with approximately 600 students.
