The items and activities I strive to include in my classroom foster independence, kindness, creativity, and academic growth. I believe students truly learn when they take ownership of their learning while having fun doing so. I have a small classroom, so I am always finding ways to be creative myself in determining the best placement of materials and unique seating arrangements. Planning is key when creating projects for my classroom, but I also believe in the power of spontaneity. I have so many teachers, family, and friends to thank for the teacher I have become!
