My students love to build and create from the smallest things like “cameras” to building “skyscrapers.” We have a limited amount of building blocks in the classroom. MagnaTiles are at the moment one of their favorite building materials to use. We only have one small set, which gives them a limited amount of time to utilize and be able to all share. These large tiles will bring in so much excitement and creativity to my students. They also enjoy the use of LEGO blocks to make homes for our sets of cultural families. Legos are also limited in the classroom.
