This upcoming school year, I will start my teaching career in fifth grade. My students deserve the best in order for them to succeed in their academics. Being able to offer these accommodations will better support my students with their work in our classroom. Distance learning has shown us that our bodies get tired of sitting in the same spot for many hours. Our bodies need movement. Having these seat cushions, a lap desk, clipboards, whiteboards, and a rug will help meet my students' needs. The seat cushions will help my students be comfortable at their lap desks for them to do their work. Clipboards/whiteboards are other great options if my students want to do their independent work on the rug. I have seen and love the benefits of having seating accommodations in order for my students to learn and grow!
