My students are mostly economically disadvantaged and they come from families who face numerous obstacles in life including homelessness and health concerns. Most young people deserve a second chance, or access to appropriate programs. DeKalb Alternative school provides just that: an opportunity to focus, and get back on track while learning from prior infractions.
