Many of the students in my alternative classroom are low readers. I want to come up beside them and help them fall in love with the works of Shakespeare and understand what they are reading. Shakespeare No Fear versions of Romeo and Juliet and The Taming of the Shrew are two great works for the students to read. I want my lower level reading students to experience the classic works of Shakespeare. I want them to be able to comprehend what they have read. Each day during lunch we are going to take turns reading out loud and silently. Having a good quality color printer in the classroom can also benefit the students. Their writing can improve throughout this project when we utilize graphic organizers, summaries, and outlines. Thank you for helping our class acquire these great works!
