Kindergarten students don't sit still for long! Reading and math learning centers comprise a large portion of our day with students working in multiple locations around the room. Students are not always sitting in chairs at tables, and they shouldn't have to be! Giving my students choices of soft and cozy seating options will allow them to feel comfortable in our classroom which will lead to more time spent focused on work. Flexible seating options address the needs of little people who need to move, squirm, and wiggle! We are requesting wobble chairs, bean bag chairs, soft seats for the ground, and carpet squares so students can be cozy around the classroom! Students will use these seat options during independent work time.
