I have the joy of serving as the librarian at a Title I school that is home to a GT Magnet Program, working alongside 6th through 8th grade students who are some of the most phenomenal, creative, and caring human beings I have ever met. As their librarian, I support curious, out-of-the-box thinkers every single day — helping them think critically, demand evidence, and become truly information-literate. I also invite students to apply their curiosity to make the world a better place through MakerSpace projects, video production, podcasting and participation in my STEM Club. The bar is high — and they clear it every time. These students inspire me.
