I have the joy of working in a Title I school's Magnet Academy with 6th through 8th grade Gifted and Talented students. My students are creative, out of the box thinkers. I have the privilege of teaching them Science and Historical Research, as well as STEAM (6-week) Mini-Courses [Robotics, Coding, Vlogging, Mythbusters-Science of the Paranormal, and Chopped-Competition Cooking.] I am teaching them to think critically and demand evidence. They are learning how to be information literate. The bar is high and they never fail to cross it. My students inspire me.
