Hello and thank you for visiting my site. I started teaching in the fall of 2015 as a NYC Teaching Fellow. I work for the New York City Department of Education in District 75, which is a specialized district for students who require a restrictive learning environment. Our school is located within a public school in an urban community in the South Bronx. I have taught second, third, fourth and fifth graders diagnosed with Autism. The students learn in an 8:1:1 setting, meaning there are eight students, myself as the special education teacher, and a paraprofessional.
