My goal is to use these supplies to help keep my students moving, motivated, and in charge. These items will give my students choice in how they will participate in class and how they will present their knowledge to others. Providing students choice in seating gives them a sense of ownership in the classroom and helps them to feel comfortable while they learn. Providing students options for presenting their knowledge motivates them to give 110% day after day because variety keeps learning from becoming stale. Plus, it gives students the opportunity to voice their knowledge, to teach others, and to learn from their peers.
