When I was preparing this proposal, the nursery rhyme "A Tisket, a Tasket" kept playing through my mind. In this case, my own version would be "a tisket, a tasket, drop an iPad in my basket." Obviously as a teacher, I know the importance of focusing on different student levels. I have no doubt, that the use of an IPAD, could assist me with independent IPAD centers to increase reading and math skills levels. Our school has been fortunate enough to gain some technology for the students in the last few years, however, as a group, we know iPads can enhance lessons . As an educator, I would love for my little ones in my classroom to receive an iPad. My goal would be to seamlessly integrate skills with technology. With an array of free apps online, I have no doubt, my children and I would benefit from having a tablet in our classroom.
