I am a second year teacher. My first year, I did maternity leaves and switched classrooms often. Now that I have my own classroom, I need to start filling it up with books my students will love. My students need books they can access without me. I want to help them increase their love for reading and feel successful on their own. These books are at their independent reading level and will help fill the empty shelves of the classroom library I have now. As of right now, my students don't read much without an adult next to them. This project can help change that without adding any frustration.
