I teach a fifth grade inclusion class. What this means is there are 8 special needs students in a general education classroom of 22. This also means there are two teachers and a para-professional. My students are hard working and want to be the best they can be. Right now our classroom does not have books low enough for these struggling students. We are hoping to receive books on tape and lower level books to help us aid and encourage our students as they continue on their way to becoming successful readers! As the special educator in the classroom it is important to reach every learner in the classroom in the best way possible. My students are fun loving, hard workers who deserve to have the chance to thrive!

About my class
