I strive to create an educational environment that focuses on the needs of all my students. When allowed, students within a classroom will find all sorts of interesting ways to get comfortable. Sometimes the traditional classroom chairs simply do not fit their needs! I believe that truly allowing students to be themselves and approach learning in whatever way fits them best increases student achievement and attitude toward school. I also think that allowing students to be more active while learning is a healthier approach. Wobble stools, balls, a standing desk and stools all allow for small movement while engaging in academics. I want to encourage students to learn about their own style of learning and begin making more choices for themselves.
