Hello! I have created a DonorsChoose account for our classroom in Perry, Ohio. We average 22 amazing little minds each year. I call it our classroom, because it belongs to the students, I am just the facilitator. So, I never like to say, Mrs.Keene's class or My class - because it's theirs. The students in the room shape what we do every day. Each year our classroom is run a little differently based on the needs and interests of the students. My goal for DonorsChoose is to be able to "catch up" with technology and literature. Both of these areas grow and grow each year and I think it is important to keep good current literature in my students hands and the world at their fingertips through the use of modern technology. I am teaching digital natives and believe it is important that they work with tools that will surround them in the real world. Thank you visiting and your consideration!
