I work for the third-largest urban school district in Pennsylvania where many students come to school without their basic needs met. Many students come to school with uniform pants that are worn out, too small, or do not wear one at all due to not having the finances to purchase them. Middle school students grow out of their clothing quickly, which adds to the financial burden already felt by many of our families. We have a dwindling supply of resources left in our uniform closet. Adding these uniforms to our uniform closet will help our school provide students with a clean, well-fitting uniform. This is one less thing our students have to worry about, so they have a better chance of being successful in the classroom and beyond.
