I have 23 students in my class who are enthusiastic and eager to learn every day. They live in a very high poverty area where about 98% of the students are on free and reduced lunch. Most of the students are Hispanic and come from homes where they might be the only one in their family to speak English. Many of the students have dealt with many hardships in their young lives and because of this are very strong individuals who are ready for any new challenges that come their way. In our class I attempt to create the most comfortable and educational environment possible for them.
