My students love to work in 3D, in fact they wait all year to work in clay. The Mayco Stroke and Coat glazes will add unbelievable shine and enthusiasm to students clay projects. Their eyes light up when they see their works transform in the kiln with a touch of glaze. With modeling clay students can experiment with various building techniques. Because modeling clay does not dry out over time, it is an excellent material for students to practice executing their ideas before they get their hands dirty. By supporting this project, you will offer students a rare opportunity to use art materials that would otherwise be unavailable to them, and will allow them to work three dimensionally. Only half of art is two dimensional. Unfortunately, most elementary students rarely work with 3D structures and materials. By having glazes and modeling clay on hand will spark students' curiosities to another way of creating.
