In our art room we like to go be on just creating art. I am always trying to incorporate literature along with the art making process. I want to create a reading area in my art room filled with books on artists and their lives that students can utilize during class. This area would provide a break for students and a way to connect the artist we are studying with literature. I also serve a number of English language learners and this would further connect them to Their language development. In addition to books I want to create a cozy seating area with chairs and a rug that will entice students.
