Our class is full of 25 awesome third graders. Our school is located in North Philadelphia. We are a culturally diverse group and most of my students speak two languages. Because English is their second language, we focus on learning to read. Even when they are working on math, my students have to first spend time translating the problem, and then tackle the math computations. I am always impressed with their persistence and dedication.
