The technology tools I selected would help keep my fourth and fifth grade students engaged and interested in Science. Science is a fun subject as it is, being very hands-on and project-based, but my school lacks a lot of technology. This tool would allow my students to take learning into their own hands! For example, we cover food chains and food webs in fourth and fifth grade science. We could complete some great examples for the whole class to see. Paper and pencil are good, but when technology is used, our students tend to grasp science concepts better! Having the Mimio SmartBoard and its accessory would be such a blessing for me and my students. Seeing them grasp science concepts is amazing and watching their love for learning grow can't be replaced! Thank you for your consideration in helping make my science class a wonderful learning experience!
