My students struggle with staying engaged during writing. I believe that providing various materials and manipulatives will support my students during whole group, small group, and independent learning times in the classroom. These writing journals provide a prompt to scaffold instruction and meet my student's current learning needs. I believe that providing sequencing tiles to my students will encourage them to explore new writing topics while giving them the support that they need. And my students go crazy for colored whiteboard markers this will help increase their excitement for writing.
