This will be my first year at Holbrook. The student population is multi-cultural and differs in abilities. The classroom space was not previously used for math instruction. Furniture includes student desks only. In order for students to work in teams, the desks would need to be pushed together. However, the desktops are slanted and this causes materials to slide or fall. I desperately need tables that allow my students to collaborate when problem solving and working in learning stations. I want my classroom to feel more like a community of learning!
