My students have a variety of special needs. The school that we are in is in a high poverty area, with a free and reduced lunch rate of greater than 80%. We are classified as a Title one school. Several of our students here have difficulty filtering out important sound from the rest of the noise that we hear everyday. We have several students with sensory issues as well as several students who have difficulty focusing. The parents of our students send us the very best that they have, and we have the privilege of treating our students like the gifts that they are.
