Students will be able to read efficiently after taking AR tests. They need tablets for more technology in the classroom to better equip them for the grades ahead. Also, some students do not have access to technology at home and are lacking the skills needed to be college and career ready. I want to provide the opportunity to help these children experience technology in a whole new light. We want kindergartners to be reading at grade level or beyond this year. So far 7 out of 17 students are reading beyond kindergarten level! 5 are on approaching level and 5 are below. I really want to help those struggling pull beyond their level of development with the aid of technology.
