My students are children with special needs in a preschool collaborative classroom who learn and play together with typically developing children in an early children center. They are children with disabilities, ranging from autism spectrum disorder to developmental delays. Children with special needs, like all children, learn through play. When they play, they need the freedom to move, to grasp objects and tools in order to work and create. However, they need specially developed tools and equipment that will help them become creators to integrate and transform themselves and their environment. Satisfaction and fulfillment of self may greatly impact self-steam. When success comes the child shouts 'Eureka'! and the child repeats, for the one millionth time, the happy and satisfying events that lead to success. Help me to help my students to tread the road to integration and experience the meaning of SUCCESS.
