Many of my students come from low-income or single parent homes. They are excited about learning, but may lack the support needed due to socio-economics. A good number of them have IEP’s and would benefit from project based learning to stimulate high engagement. Due to the pandemic it is critical that we find fun and creative ways to engage our children in the learning process. It is my goal to inspire, excite and woo my students into learning through discovery. I’m always in search of new, fresh ways to ignite a zeal and love of learning within my students. I’ve been teaching for more than three decades and I’m still learning, growing, and excited about this work! These children deal with things that children should not have to deal with at this tender age. Making school a wonderful, warm, comfortable, and safe space for them is paramount for their success in life. I want to do that for them. We are dreaming big!
