I try to make my classroom feel like a second home, for my students and for myself. Students learn best in a space where they are comfortable and can be kids. Almost all of my students speak Spanish at home, so I try to foster a pride in bilingualism at all times, through both my actions and the environment. I teach at a Title I school where over 85% of the students received free or reduced-price lunch. I am so thankful for the support of donors that allows me to provide the educational experience for my students that I know is best.
