My fifth graders are kind, hilarious, incredible people, with a hunger for knowledge. These students come from near and far, and in 4 short years, have taught me more than I could have imagined! I begin each day with a hug, handshake, or high-five from around 40 ten-year-olds. My class is multicultural and extremely diverse. We speak 4 languages total, and have family from all over the world! These students come in with stories, questions, and experiences that have given me the gift of laughter, taught me empathy, and sharpened my wit. I am as enriched by them as they will ever be by my teaching.
