I teach at a charter school that strives to provide the best education for our students. Parents choose to send their children to our school in hopes that their child will receive a better education than they would at their neighborhood school. Our students take their education seriously and always try their best. Many of our students are low-income and are on free and reduced lunch. It is not uncommon for students to only have access to technology at school. When they go home, they do not all have iPads or even computers. Being a charter school, we have limited funds available for technology. Classrooms only have one student computer and some classrooms are not equipped with projectors.
