In today's technology driven world, my students need every opportunity to develop their computer skills. At my school, we have fantastic online programs that help students meet their individual learning needs - both for those who are advanced and for those who need some extra time to catch up to their peers. Our school district also purchased a system-wide comprehensive, technology-based early reading, math and science program with integrated assessments and teacher tools for Pre-K. But unfortunately, we don't have enough reliable computers! More Chromebooks mean more students can access the reteaching and enrichment programs that will help increase their academic potential. Adding two Chromebooks, headphones, and mice to our classroom will allow for more students to access the programming that is designed to meet them at their level to help ensure overall success. Additional computers also means that I will be able to provide even more targeted enrichment during the school day. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student knowledge and interest of technology, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
