We are working on getting the author to Skype with us, and my students have never gotten an author visit or a chance to talk to an author. They are coming up with great questions for him, and I want to actively engage as many students as possible with him. My artistically inclined students are fascinated by the artwork and want to ask questions about the illustrations and his artistic process. It is rare to find a book with such a broad appeal to boys and girls, high and low readers, and kids from all walks of life. Having found such a book, I want to feed their interests as much as I possibly can.
