I am the Augmentative and Alternative communication specialist for my school district. This means that I only work with the students who are unable to talk and I try and match them with some way for them to communicate be it through pictures, a communication device, signing, etc. I travel to 4 (sometimes 5!) schools and work with all the amazing special education students in those buildings who need a voice! I love being able to help these students learn how to express themselves because they all have such vibrant personalities and they LOVE school!
