My classroom library is the hub of my classroom. I have been collecting books for years and I'm always adding new titles. This year I am really excited to give my students a 40 book challenge. It is just what it sounds like, I want them to read 40 books each over the course of the school year! The key to this challenge, is that students will need to choose books to represent all genres, which is where this project comes in! By adding new non-fiction, poetry, fantasy, and historical fiction, along with the traditional fiction and graphic novels they love, I'm excited to see them grow as readers! The more students read, the better readers they become and the more knowledge and information they have access to! I can't wait to see their expressions when they see our classroom library!
