Because of the need to keep students isolated to maintain sanitary conditions, our students need individual tools for learning. We propose to add a light table with manipulatives and materials to the classroom. For students that haven't been exposed to electronic devices, the light table with manipulatives provide an alternative to electronic learning. With these items, the students can interact with familiar shapes, such as letters, numbers, and Legos to learn on their own or with less assistance. We can achieve individually paced learning without computers, tablets or internet access!
