My kids need your help! I teach 8th grade English to students who are at-risk. My students have a wide range of reading and ability levels, from gifted students and those with post high-school reading to those who read at a first grade level and those who receive special education services. My school is in a low-income, rural area. Reading about different people, places, and events outside of the area will be a great help for many of them.
