The materials being requested will make a huge difference in my students lives because it will give them a chance to engage themselves in reading. It is definitely a struggle to get students motivated to read without any books in the classroom. I always tell my students that reading can and will take you many places as long as you use your imagination to get there. I want my students to gain the confidence I'm themselves just as much as I have the same confidence in them. The book sets being requested would be a great asset to my classroom library.
