My students love to learn, but I can't seem to acquire enough reading materials to get them interested in reading and maintain their interest in reading. Also, during class discussions, we discuss current events, but we can never make the connection to written text. With TIME For Kids, we would be able to do just that. With so many magazine issues in a school year's subscription, there would be enough topics that every student would be able to connect to something. The activities that coincide with the articles would provide more opportunities for students to demonstrate that they understood the content provided in the articles.
