My classroom is equipped with all the tools we need to meet our needs, HOWEVER, after nearly 20 years in education, some of our basic tools need to be replaced. The teaching center is used every day for teaching lessons, sharing a story, reviewing material, and giving instruction. A teaching stand has a stand to hold books, hooks, for holding large pieces of chart paper, it's magnetic so we can use magnets to hold papers and charts, and it has a dry erase board for instruction and lessons. This is literally the "center" for our lessons. A class set of white boards is used often for individual and whole group lessons during centers, math, and reading instruction.
