My school is in an area where there is a high incidence of poverty. Therefore, we have a lot of students who get their basic needs such as food, clothing and medical care met at school. On the other end of the spectrum, is students whose parents are financially able to meet all of there needs. This can sometimes result in students with more money having more opportunities than students with less money. A calculator grant would help me to even out the playing field.
